Hey Alex - nice final comp - looks pretty bleak out there! I think it might work nicely if you had a slight blend of colour going into the tentacles from the ground - as if some of the earth colour is being drawn up too. I look forward to seeing this 'happen' now... Don't forget - this is also about showmanship!
